Community Code of Conduct
BGGC is an inclusive and safe space! No homophobic/transphobic/misogynistic speech will be tolerated here. This is a welcoming space that is Pro-Black/Pro-Poc and LGBTQ friendly. Any isms or phobias will get you kicked. This includes terms that contribute to rape culture and the use of rape jokes, etc.
No Ablesim - Ableism is defined as “a set of beliefs or practices that devalue and discriminate against people with physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities and often rests on the assumption that disabled people need to be ‘fixed’ in one form or the other.” This also means no ableist language will not be tolerated.
No Negativity - this is a positive and uplifting space for Black Women and Women of Color.
No Gossip/Drama - if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. If you have an issue with someone, either address them privately or contact a community administrator.
Any disrespect towards the creators/moderators/or community members will not be tolerated and will also get you kicked from this space.
We understand that trash talking happens during gameplay. However, there is a difference between talking trash and using problematic/discriminatory terms towards other players. Please be mindful of your language.
Community safety is very important to us, as well as equity and inclusion. We do not tolerate bigotry of any sort. If we find that you engage in any of the above mentioned behaviors, your application will be denied.
